Article 1(Terms and Conditions)

This Japanese Conversation School Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") is established by Sky Nine Partners Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") for the purpose of specifying necessary matters for the use of the online Japanese conversation school ("the School") provided on the "Shirokuma Online Japanese Conversation School" operated by the Company.
Article 2(Amendment of Terms)

These Terms may be revised, changed, or have additional provisions added by the School at its discretion without the consent of Shirokuma Online Japanese Conversation School members. In such cases, the terms of service for members shall be governed by the revised terms.

The revised terms shall come into effect from the time they are announced or notified on the School's website or by any other method determined by the School, and shall apply retroactively to all members.
Article 3 (Members)
A Shirokuma Online Japanese Conversation School member (hereinafter referred to as "member") is someone who has consented to these Terms and has applied for membership in the Shirokuma Online Japanese Conversation School according to the methods specified by the School, and whose membership application has been accepted by the School.
Article 4 (Rejection of Membership Registration)
The School may refuse an application under the following circumstances:
1. If there is a risk of violating these Terms or if the School determines that there has been a violation.
2. If there are false statements, significant errors, or omissions in the registration information provided to the School.
3. If the individual has been subject to disciplinary action resulting in membership termination due to violations of these Terms in the past.
4. In any other case where the School deems the membership registration to be inappropriate, regardless of the reason.
Article 4 (Refusal of Membership Registration)
The School may refuse an application under any of the following circumstances:
1. If there is a risk of violating these Terms or if the School determines that a violation exists.
2. If the registration information provided to the School, in whole or in part, contains false or materially incorrect information, or if there are omissions.
3. If the applicant has previously been subject to disciplinary action resulting in membership termination due to violations of these Terms.
4. In any other case where the School determines that the membership registration is inappropriate, regardless of the reason.
Article 5 (Learning Environment)
In order to use the services of this School, it is necessary to have hardware such as a computer or smartphone, a headset, and a webcam. The headset and webcam are to be provided by the member.

For online lessons, the use of video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc., is required.

Please comply with the terms, guidelines, etc., of Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc.

The School shall not be held responsible for any damages caused by computer viruses, etc., resulting from files received or opened at your own responsibility through Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc.

Regarding the hardware or software necessary for using Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc., and other facilities necessary for online lessons, the School shall not be held responsible if a student is unable to attend due to malfunctions of such equipment.
Article 6 (Payment Methods for Course Fees)
The course fees will be separately specified for each applicable lesson.
Course fees can be paid using one of the following methods:
(1) Bank Transfer
After applying for the course, please transfer the full amount to the bank account specified by the organizer, as instructed via email or other means. The applicant is responsible for any transfer fees.
(2) Credit Card Payment
Article 7 (Payment Deadline)
Please make payment for the course fees for the following month by the last day of the current month.
Article 8 (Lesson Reservation, Changes, Cancellations, and Substitute Lessons)
1. Lessons are conducted strictly by reservation.
2. Changes to lesson dates can be made anytime up until two days before the lesson start.
3. Cancellations made within two days of the lesson start will result in forfeiture of the lesson plan for that day.
4. One lesson can be rescheduled per month.
5. If a member is late due to reasons such as tardiness or computer issues, the teacher will wait for up to 15 minutes from the scheduled start time. After 15 minutes, the member will be considered absent.
Article 9 (Pause membership)
Members may temporarily pause lesson reservations and attendance (referred to as "Pause") if desired. Members can pause their membership for the current month by notifying the Company of their intention to pause membership by the 25th of the previous month. If notification is received after the 25th of the previous month, the pause will take effect from the following month. Lesson fees will not be charged for the month during which the pause occurs.
Article 10 (Withdrawal)
If you wish to withdraw, please submit the designated withdrawal form by the 25th of the month prior to the month of withdrawal.
Article 11 (Forced Withdrawal)
In the following cases, we may request that you withdraw:
1. Frequent inappropriate behavior during lessons or causing inconvenience to other members, despite warnings and guidance from instructors.
2. Failure to pay tuition and fees for more than 2 months despite repeated requests. (All outstanding tuition and fees must be settled before withdrawal.)
3. Actions that damage the honor or reputation of the School or disrupt order.
4. Any other serious misconduct that damages the trust relationship with the School.
Article 12 (Protection of Personal Information)
1. We strictly manage members' personal information and information provided in membership applications within the School to prevent external leakage or loss.
2. Members' personal information will not be used without consent or for unauthorized purposes. It will only be used within the scope of consent and will not be disclosed or provided to third parties.
Article 13 (Disclaimer and Warranty)
1. We cannot be held responsible for disputes between members.
2. The School does not guarantee any specific results. Please understand that individual results may vary.
3. We are not responsible for damages caused by the intentional, negligent, or careless actions of members.
